~ DX Double W belt Korean VS Japan Version

Recently, I was lucky to bump into a review between the difference of Japan and Korean version for the Double belt. Last time, I heard collectors mentioned about it but the video review sounds was not clear. I found a link through a eBay seller about the reviews done by a Korean guy. The main difference that I notice are as the following:

Sounds (pronunciation difference) - Korean follows the English pronunciation and has echo effects. For example, Fang memory; Japan said Fangu while Korean said Fang. Joker memory; Japan said Jokarrr while Korean said Joker.
Casing color - Looks more transparent on the Korean version
Stickers - Japan version sticker is more shinny while Korean version has darker color.

~ HDM Kamen Rider Black RX

Now, here is another review on the HDM series of RX. Currently, I am waiting the arrival of latest HDM series that has Black, Shadowmoon and Faiz. Cool !!!

I am Kamen Rider Black RX !!! The cool signature pose of RX after he killed a monster.

The beam saber is made from clear plastic.

Close up looks. The red on the watch actually faded. I retouch up it. Its sad to see there is a "nip" mark on the chin that spoils the looks. :(

Comparison with Ultimate Solid release RX (Right). I am not sure why US series size looks bigger maybe because of the head. The paint on the tight is different. HDM looks more accurate.

Anyway, I feel the paint job on US series is smoother. The watch has better paint details.

~HDM Kamen Rider Biorider

Sorry for the long wait on posting this cool rider from HDM series. I have been wanted to open it from the seal bag but lack of display space last time. I like the sculpture or molding of this figures. Look accurate from the show. Biorider is the only rider that can change into liquid form !!! Cool !!! As for those who don't know about Biorider, he is actually the third form of Kamen Rider RX.

Close up shots on the head and body. I had touch up the face, belt and the eyes. Part of the red color eyes is not properly painted. I added black lining, blue and red dots on the belt too !!!

The beam saber is made from clear plastic painted in light blue. It has fine prepainted details !!!

Transformers Star Saber is my favorite Transformers during my childhood time. I remembered last time my mom asked me to choose one Transformers toys when i went shopping with her. I was choosing between Road Caesar and Star Saber. That time transformers was made in Japan !!! It was really a hard decision. In the end, I chose Road Caesar as this set has 3 Transformers. I played the Road Caesar figures with bro until all the stickers worn out, the figures still looks solid !!! Anyway, let's have a look on Star Saber combine with Victory Leo !!! Cool !!!

The signature pose of Super 1 !!!

The shoulder lifting angle is a bit limited due to its shoulder armor.

Colorful and detail belt set. The center piece of belt with many red dots are actually dark green transparent plastic !!! Nice !!!

Lets have close looks on the head sculpt. Nice transparent details in the bug eyes !!! The head is very nicely "SICed" while maintain original looks.

Details on the arm. He has very nice sculpt.

Here we go !!!

One of my child hood Kamen Rider Super 1 !!! Super 1 is really cool and handsome !!!

Many types of hands are provided in this set. Unfortunately, Super 1 has very little die cast which is almost no longer suit the title Chogokin.

Latoratar is my favorite form among all OOO rider forms. He has speed mode and "shinning head" attack !!! I even bought the Project BM version of it. >< Ok, let us have a look on the figure.

The molding and design of Latoratar is quite screen accurate. I like !!!

The side view reminds me about Bruce Lee. Hmmm.....

I remember I saw a guy customize Tatoba last time but I forgot to save the link, I think he is the same guy. Guess what project he is going on? Kamen Rider..............Meteor !!! This is another huge diorama. The mobile suits are in 1/100 scale.

Gelgoog stand on seaside or port? The sea in deep blue color might looks better. The paint job and choice of color on Gelgoog could be improved better.

I like this capture part. The half GM body grab by Gelgoog with huge left hand.

~ S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate

Recently, Bandai just reissued this Ultimate Kuuga. However, I got mine during first released. Ultimate Kuuga is one of the coolest form of Kamen Rider with sharp pointed armor and he his tallest among my Figuarts !!! He is heavy too !!!

Despite Ultimate Kuuga does not has weapon, Bandai provides us with more pairs of hands. However, I don't like the fist. They are small and round which is out of scale.

Black eyes Kuuga the evil form which appeared in Decade series.

Details on the belt is extremely detail !!!

Details on the legs. He has die-cast feet.

Details on back armor.

Tiny details on side belt gadget. Impressive !!!

Overall, this is a must get figure for Figuarts collector. The details are great and figure is solid. The only bad sides on this figure are standing stability issue and the gold lining on the body is uneven. That is why I don't pose much with this figure as I forgot to bring my stage act stands.

Gundam Unicorn in Full armor (FA) version. Besides from extra weapons, the usual pink parts on the Gundam is now in green color. Looks not bad. This version actually released before in GFFN series.

The "turbo" back pack can be used as Gundam carrier in space?

This is /60 scale Zaku in jungle camouflage. The diorama looks simple but check out all the details on the diorama.

The water effects on the river looks realistic !!! Very nice!!! One of the photo that I like to view again and again :)

The details and colors on the train tracks also looks realistic !!! Awesome !!!

This is another great work. At least the idea is fresher. Unicorn has to fight a giant mutant Sinanju in gorilla form. The Unicorn is in 1/144 scale. You can roughly estimate how big is the Sinanju which is fully scratch built I think. It has hairy hands!!!

Let us have clearer look on this fierce gorilla. Can you see the sharp teeths? It suddenly reminds of Dragonball Super Saiyan Gorillas. Haha !!!

. This is MG version of Accguy. I like this cool idea. Quite bored with dessert scene. Check out the photos !!!

The frozen Accguy. Nice freezing effect and nice color scheme.

The 1/100 scale humans which is approximately 2cm tall. They were nicely painted. Impressive !!!

Today was the prize giving ceremony day for the GBWC 2011 event. The area is quite small. Maybe the event split into two different places. I went to the Sungei Wang GBWC. As usual many people visit the booth. The display cabinet with lighting are well set up for displaying the contestants masterpiece. To my surprise, this year submission do not have much customization and very few Perfect Grade Gundam or Zaku. There are 4 entries that I like the most. There are a few limited edition model kits up for sale as well but you have to pay premium price to get them. Sangokuden kits are on sales with special price !!! Another new cartoon character I added into my Figuarts collection after Gohan. This Nobita is about 12cm tall. So far this is best version among all Doraemon toys in terms of articulations and sculpting. It brings back a lot of childhood memories :)

The amount of accessories provided really great !!! The box is heavy !!!

Extra four expressions provided but I am disappointed because no EPIC crying expression provided. OMG!!! How can Bandai forgot this? Almost 80% of Doraemon show, you can see Nobita crying.

Sleep, sleep, sleep.....Nobita favourite hobby.

Some mini figurines provided as small as 2cm tall only.

~ RMC Rider Mask Best Selection 2 (Preview)

This is the 1st time I purchase Rider Mask head set. Best selection 2 received about 2 weeks ago!!! There is no secret in the Best Selection line. Basically, they are more like reissue of some nice rider head from pass released. I wanted to get Black and Eternal :) The size is approximately 1/6 scale. But, they are slightly larger than 1/6 Medicom RAH head. Every head comes with display stand. Each set of 8 pieces comes with only 1 light up stand. Total 14 types in this series.

Here is one of the most useful guide in painting. Finally, I learned something from this website !!! Lacquer paint cannot be directly applied to plastic !!! I feel really sad and bad of some local hobby shop did not mentioned about this when I bought a few bottles of paint. Last year, I tried to custom paint Transformers but ended in night mare !!! The body of the transformer totally cracked !!! Really break my heart that the shop didn't inform me in advance during purchase of paint. I didn't know about it as few years back I used Hobby color which I thought they changed name and packaging. Hobby color is acrylic paint while Mr Color is lacquer paint. According to Tamiya paint table, lacquer is the strongest which means it is more hazardous !!!

~ Tomica Toyota FJ Cruiser

I received this Limited first color edition from Japan last week. The FJ is Made in Vietnam. After calculation, its more expensive to buy from Japan compared to local store. However, I am lazy to hunt nowadays as most of the new stock always sold out very fast in local store when I try to grab one. It is in 1/66 scale only, so it is smaller than actual car.

I am surprised to find out that the blue is darker than I thought. The regular version is in yellow. The detailing is really nice. "TOYOTA" logo printed on front grill. The bumper has semi painted silver color. Very nice.

The roof of the FJ reminds me of Hummer. Rear small piece of "window" is painted in black. Of course, this FJ has suspension. The rims are not painted.

Rear window, spare tire cover, rear lamps are painted.

Made in Vietnam, 1/66 scale.

Overall, I like this FJ. Detail, heavy and nice design. :) A must have in your Tomica collection.

The weapon looks like rope which is flexible as shown below made from soft PVC. The other white 2 sides are made from plastic. Bandai has chosen very nice brown color which is almost similar to real rope color.

The effect parts. These 2 parts actually merge together on the hand.

Optimus DVD edition is another secret from the blind packaging series. It is a more detail version with battle damage marks and black lining. All the details can be seen more clearly on the figure. I like it !!!

The best pose. Optimus has 4 points of articulations: Head, both arms and waist.

Hmm, I don't know why the manufacturer painted the gun with a "piece" of black oily looking mark.

~ Transformers Movie SD Cliffjumper (Robot Heroes)

Finally, I able to add this red Cliff into my Robot Heroes. He was actually a "chase" a.k.a. "secret" in blind packaging plastic that cost RM9.90 each. So, you might have to tried many times in order to get him. I am lucky to found him in loose condition in free market. Bumbleebee has this mold as well.

I like this pose the best.

Boo ya !!! Cliffjumper only has 3 points of articulations: Head, both arms. Too bad, he do not have waist joint.

Silver Autobot insignia on the gun.

The legs have nice details that you can't find in other Transformers toys.

~ SD Gundam Next Monster (Next 3)

Monster Gundam this name is actually I myself named it. I don't know how to read the Japanese word. He looks totally different which gives me the feels of combination between a warrior and a monster. I not sure this is completely new design by Bandai or not. But he looks cool.

The shield has monster face on it.

He has detail blue cape. All brown horns on the body can be removed.

He has simple "twist left right" joint on elbow with nice open left palm.

Overall, the design looks good with many painted parts.

~ SD Gundam Next Unicorn Gundam (Next 3)

Unicorn actually already released in series 1 but with different weapons. Series 1 comes with rifle and shield. This series 3 is actually is an "upgrade" version with other weapons. I wonder why Bandai didn't release the normal version of Unicorn.

~ SD Gundam Next Nu Gundam (Next 3)

The molding of this Nu Gundam is quite sharp and good looking. Actually, I only wanted Sazabi and Sinanju but I have no luck that day. Really bad day for me because I straight away spin 5 gashapons that day but didn't get what I want but get "double". =( Alright, the Next series is really nice. Each stands at around 5-6cm tall depends on models and has basic articulations. So, you can do some action pose =) Each cost 200 Yen. Recently, Litt Tak has raised the price for each token to RM5 from RM4. That means each of this Gundam cost RM10 as each need two tokens. That's really pricey !!! I have to stop spin the machine already =(

I like this chopping pose as the beam saber already bended in the capsule. Lol ! ~~

I do hope Bandai can include the gun for this Gundam.

~ SIC Kiwami Kamen Rider Agito Trinity ( Part 1)

I just bought this Agito last 2 days ago. It stands at around 12 cm tall. The packaging is still the same except that Bandai do not use "metal string" to tie the figure against the plastic tray anymore. Every new release of Kiwami figure really surprises me. I skipped the Ground form Agito so I only able to feel the Kiwami Agito on this Trinity form. It has movable horns and weapons parts. I will continue more review on Part 2.

The shinny "power gem" on belt is made from separate clear yellow plastic instead of just painted. Nice !!!

The most expensive ever Optimus Prime figure / statue finally released. The details and size are awesome. Of course, the price also awesome. I don't think I will ever afford to buy this masterpiece. The coloring and details really superb..... man, I just can't stop praising it..... Thanks to this guy who sharing his collection for us to view.....

This time the set comes with a lot of accessories with 2 piles of medals which allows you to display Ankh in simple diorama style.

The stand base. One unit of clear version Stage act 4 is provided.

The ice creams looks delicious.

The medals really cute as they are around 4mm in diameter each. They were molded in clear plastic and painted.

A comparison of Ankh arm with previous first Tatoba released bonus Ankh arm. The old version lack of details.

Final comments:

Is he worth to get? I think he is priced at reasonable price of 1500yen. The detailing and accessories are worth to get. Each stand average already cost around 350yen +-.
Furthermore, he is quite fun for people who like to capture diorama scene.
We are lucky that this Ankh arm is not released as Tamashi online exclusive item.
A must have for Ankh or OOO fans.

Let the fight begins !!! The stand I used is from Bandai's Stage Act 4. I didn't use the Figma stand as I feel it is not strong enough to support action poses. Furthermore, Figma provide a "clip type" holder. I afraid if I constantly pull and plug in around waist might damage the paint or cause scratches.

There is a clip cover at the back of the skirt. Removing the clip allow you to plug in the Figma stand holder.

Here is the default face plate display in the Figma box. There are only 2 face plates.

Final comments:

The articulations are quite good except the shoulder's articulation is quite limited due to the bulging sleeve.
A nice beautiful figure but pricey as she was sold bundled with PS2 game.
There is fake or bootleg version, be-careful if you want to get her.

Today is the final episode of Kamen Rider OOO aired in Japan. OOO series is definitely one of the best Kamen Rider TV series. Unfortunately, it has sad ending storyline. Ankh disappeared as his main core medal damaged over time. All other remaining medals disappear as well. If you want to know more about the ending and king form of OOO, then you must watch it. Hope OOO movie will be released soon...

When I received this parcel, I was really shocked to see the dented marks on the box. This box was shipped by EMS. It really made me heart break. :(

Here comes the "Black haul" which actually arrived on the same day as Nendoroid Miku Support. Figma and Nendoroid Strength and Griffon model kit. :)

Finally she arrived, I have been waiting for more than one month. Hmmm, I think its more appropriate for me to say all the customer who ordered the Miku Support version worry about their purchase due to GSC staff wrongly sent out almost all orders by surface mail instead of EMS. This is a serious mistake. However, last week GSC apologized officially to all customers and refunds the EMS fees (2000 yen). I am happy to receive my Miku but one of the box suffers some box crease at edge due to box size and bad packing method.

The box just fits the Nendoroid nicely. Some people reported that their box get crushed or damage. I think GSC should improve their packaging method like Amiami and Hobby Search did.

This is the second time for me to purchase KO toys after the legend Optimus Prime I showed last time. I bumped into this figure while I wanted to buy some drinks last week at overseas. Actually, the main figure that attract my attention is the KO G1 Devastator. I saw Menasor too. However, I decided to pick this mecha because it has nice chrome and huge chrome sword. The figure stands about 7 inches tall. I have no idea what is the name of this machine until I went back and google. What surprise me is the packaging use the original name which is Dairugger XV. This figure is based on the early stage of toys; Popy chogokin version released in 1982 which I was not born yet!!! Anyway, this figure miss out some gimmick such as vehicle combination mode that the original toy has. There are some difference in color scheme compared to the original.

I found a useful article from Nendonesia website. A very useful article with images to teach you how to further identify fake or bootleg Nendoroid. The most obivious parts of bootleg are still shiny skin tone and irregular size. However, beware fellow collectors. The quality of bootleg are improving especially Kuroneko !!! So, becareful while purchasing a Nendoroid.

Last time, I was trying to searched how does the HW Olds 442 looks like in Google, but failed to find. Now, I finally know how it looks like. I like the front grill details.

I remember HW did released a version with spoiler. That version looks much coooler.

Kamen Rider Birth is added to my favourite Kamen Rider list. I am not sure why I like secondary more than main rider such as Garren from Kamen Rider Blade, Ixa from Kiva and more. Hmmm maybe they have cool weapons? The Birth's box looks cute to me as the side has 3 Gashapons art on it. I prefer to call Birth as Gashapon rider :P His henshin sound has Gashapon "pop" sound.

Lets have a look on the items you will get from this set. It comes with 2 extra pair of hands, "Angry" mode head and Birth Buster.

I found a website with a lot of special and limited version of Rider Heroes Series (RHS). Some are special event prize item while some a exclusive gift item comes with merchandise such as megazine and games. The newer limited version is called as heavy painted version. This version looks nicer as each figure are painted into more detail version unlike normal RHS comes with basic color painted on body. However, heavy painted version is not cheap which each figure cost at least 1000yen although comes with merchandise. KFC Malaysia is having special promotion on 1/64 Mini Coopers diecast. There are 6 designs in total. You have to make any other purchase in KFC in order to buy one car at RM8.00 or you can buy each at RM5.50 with purchase of ole pocketful. Based on the casting, I guess these are made by Welly. Last time promotion were Volkswagon Beetle around 2 years back.

~ Event: Litt Tak Warehouse SALES (June 2011)

Today is the last day for Litt Tak warehouse sale. I went there this morning around 9am. Only few people there. I stayed there until around 1p.m. but nothing much nice left only noticed a few radio control Tomy car worth to get. However, if you have the time you may stay there until 6p.m. to wait for goodies as the staffs carry out different items from time to time. I noticed a pair of couple staying there longer than I do. I didn't know the staffs would bring out new stuff and put on cashier tables until when I going to make payment. They surround the table and keep on "sapu" (Grab all) things when the staff bring out the items. I wonder why they are getting 3-5 sets of same models of items especially Tomica and Choro Q. I feel kinda dissappointed as I can't even get one piece of the car. I saw them carried 3 big bags of toys and a big box. The Tomica and Choro Q are on great bargains!!! 4 pcs only RM10 per pack. There are few packs of special Tomica set with mini Lego human alike figurine. I was standing there counting how much I spent extra on Choro Q...lolz....I saw quite many Choro Q I bought at RM12 per piece last time.

I have been keeping on looking around for when is the actual date for this Gundam mid year competition. I just found it recently from another blog about the actual date and venue. Please take note !!! The venue has changed to The Mines, Serdang. I feel a bit disappointing as it is not convenient for some of us that does not have private transport to go there. First time for me to get a full set of SD Kamen Rider mini figures. These figures are known as finger puppet to some people as this figures can fit into finger. After I bought this OOO set, I realize that each of the figure has increased 20 Yen. Nowadays, it is quite hard to get these SD from local store maybe due to bad response which is quite sad for me as I have to get them from Japan directly which is more expensive. After adding shipping, each set cost about RM70 for 10 figures in a set. Luckily all has different design and is complete set. Ok, it seems I had talked too much. Let's have a view on those cute riders.

So, totally there are 10 different design in this set. I missed out Tatoba combo in previous released. Each figure is about 2 inches tall.

I have added some detailing to Birth's belt. It was silver in color. Basically, I did minor touched up on almost all units but overall the paintjob is ok. Another figure is Ankh's right arm which I didnt show in photo as I not yet open it up. Kinda creepy for me. Lol !!!

Other riders in this set are Ichigo and Den-O which are actually repeated release figures. Oh yea, Bandai seems to save the cost on painting as the Den-o looks less detail and the paintjob only focus on front. The painting on the side especially leg is not complete.

This week review is SHF V3, The Next version. I know this is old released figure but his one the highly sought after riders. Luckily, I am still able to get him after he is reissued around end of last year. I would definately recommend this figure. The sculpt is good except that his face is slightly longer than the actual looks. Otherwise, he is still a nice looking figure and has metal foot. Nowadays, new SHF released rarely has metal foot especially OOO series and Kiva. Oh well, get this V3 if you still able to find him.

This is what you will be getting after open the box. Suprisingly this is not candy toys as there is no candy provided. Remember the box I shown in previous box? This petit series is considered as adult collectible because the box shown the figure is intended for 15 years old and above.

Received this set of petit rider after waited for more than 3 weeks. Each complete box contains 10 different types of characters. Each figure is about 5cm tall and comes with display base. The full box retail at 4750 Yen which means eah figure cost 475 Yen. I think it is quite expensive because the quality is below my expectation. Good Smile Company Nendoroid Petit series quality is a lot better than this. Anyway, I like the cuteness of these riders design by Bandai.

Here is another great oldies but goodies figure that I would recommend to you all. The Megatron produce by Revoltech. It has very good articulations and sculpt. Great for extreme poses !!! However, this figure cannot transform.

Megatron is fully painted except the joints. The shiny metallic silver really make it looks more outstanding !!! He has very good G1 looks just like in the animation or cartoon.

I accidentally found these few cars when I was searching for Transformers. I found out that this new HW wave is cool as most the cars are in yellow. My favourite color. Haha. Those cars released in this wave are cool as well. There are Ferrari, Lamborghini, Police edition Corvette and Hummer in this wave. I saw orange Reventon but I give it a pass. Reventon fans dont miss it. ;)

Renault Megane version (2011 premier) in metallic yellow. I like the cool custom skirting. Keep up the good works Mattel !!! I want more !!!

Ferrari 458 Italia (2010) in solid yellow.

Matchbox Shelby Cobra 427 S/C in metal polish finishing. I better keep it in card as I notice my Ford GT with this finishing as well get oxidized already :(

I quite like this figure. It is from the Kabuto HG series gashapon cost at 200 Yen each. I got it from Japan by purchasing a set. There are 3 variants. Other 2 are Neotrooper and Zectrooper without the double gold lining on the side. I wish to get the other 2 as well but have to buy another 2 sets? Each set comes with one type of trooper.

I guess this month I over spend on toys already ==". I really need to control myself since its still early March. Any good way to share with me on how to resist in spending??? Anyway, I feel lucky and unlucky at the same time. I still can get the United Jazz !!! It was released last month but I still havent have the time to buy it yet that time. The bad news is I paid slightly higher than the suppose retail price of RM85-89 as the bos of the toyshop told me Jazz is sold out already at Japan and stop production. Hmm, I not really sure about that. Jazz is my favourite TF character so this mold is must have for me. This version has great articulations as well. In case you dont wish to spend RM80+ for this figure, you may opt to get the Hasbro version. The main difference is the Takara United version is pure white color, Hasbro's is slightly bech color cost at RM59. I am still hunting for Tracks as well. Upcoming of United TF is really tempting me to buy more.....I faint ~~~
