~ How to Take Care Your PVC Figure
I found this article/ info from a forum and would like to share it as found it very useful. Actually, I was googling for information or instructions on how to "repair" the bend part of PVC figure especially my SD Gundam gashapon figures. Most of them are out of shape when remove from the capsules. The writer of this article provided a link on how to repair the bend figure. Too bad, the link is broken but there many useful tips in the article. The following are tips provided by baibaiman, from HobbyFanatics.com, 2008.
Here is the simple list of how to taken care of your PVC figure:
1) Keep it on cool temperature. (Hot temperature will cause your pvc to produced oil and it will easily crack in the future). Why it will produced oil? What is that? Read above!!.
2) DONT EVER PUT YOUR PVC DIRECTLY TO SUNLIGHT. Dont put them near strong light that produced heat wave, e.g halogen lamp and filament bulb.
3) Once every few months, put your figure inside freezer for about 20 minutes (Not too long).
4) If by any chance your figure starting to produced oil (Because of heat), put your figure to freezer for 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
5) Use blower to clean your figure. Personally, I use hair drier to blow all the dust (!!!!! REMEMBER TO SET THE HAIR DRIER TO BLOW COOL AIR, NOT THE HOT AIR). If you rich, use dust remover that used to clean up computer part or other electronic stuff.
6) Do not clean your figure with chemical liquid. No warm water as well. If possible avoid water; only use small amount water to clean very dirty part of your figure.
7) If you have a hard time to remove the figure from the stand (most of them are made of plastic), do not use force. Just put the figure inside the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes. It is because plastic will shrink and expand more then PVC, coldcast, etc..
8) If you have more then 1 figure stand close to each other, please make sure dont let them to touch each other. After long time, it will leave a mark ont he other figure.
9) (THIS IS NOT TOO IMPORTANT. IT ONLY HAPPEN WHEN THE FIGURE USED CHEAP PAINT. Famous brand such as Max Factory, kaiyodo, alter, good smil company, etc.. will used good paint) Try to put a plastic to every joint that removeable to avoid direct contact that will leave a mark after a long time. Do you know the reason, why manufacture always put a plastic bettwen the joint that removeable when you bought a new figure? It is because when they touch each other, after long time, it will leave a paint mark.
10) This is for PVC figure Only.
AVOID puting heavy object e.g. weapon, items, etc.. on your figure hands. It is because PVC will bend over time. For more info about this or how to fix this, go to http://www.happysoda.com/archives/142

~ SIC Kamen Rider Wing Form (Hobby Japan Limited)
Woohoo !!! Finally the Wing form is here !!! I got this dude few days back and immediately open the box after I took a photo of the box. The box is cool and is sealed with "plastic beg". This issue comes with the SIC Hero Saga book. Hmm, I should say buy the book get the figure for free :D
Box back art.
After you remove the outer box, you will see a golden box art. Box art? Yes, there is another smaller box inside.
Some photoshots of the figures as the following. I didn't plan to remove it from box as I don't have any place to display him with his huge wings !!!
Unfortunately, my unit has a few parts with sloppy paint jobs. I don't mind his body, legs or arms have sloppy paintjob but not his eyes. There are few silver dots of paint on his eyes. Need to clean it up when I have the time to do it. Hopefully the silver paint will come out.
Check out the awesome details !!!
Hmm, I forgot to snap a photo of the wings !!! Den-O and SIC lovers shouldn't miss out this awesome Wing form.

~ NEWS: New Safety Standards for Toy
I read this news few weeks back. Actually, government mentioned about the new safety standards on July 2009 which was supposed to be commenced on January 2010. The toy retailers and wholesaler were given 6 months grace period starting from August 2009. However, government then delayed the enforcement of the standards to July 2010. I guess the toy retailers demand more time for them to clear out their toys? Recent past two months, you may notice certain toys are up for big sale (around 50%-70% off retail price) such as Choro-Q and gashapons. So, you should go get what you want before they dissapear in our local market. This news can be good and bad news for me. Bad news is I will stop collecting the "to be dissapear toy series" while the good news is I can save more and stream down my toy collections. In future, you still have chance to import toys from overseas but usually cost a lot more than buying them locally and you might require to do declaration according to the toys safety guideline (TIPS: Buying locally allow you to check the item conditions on the spot).
Goods not regarded as toys
6. Collectible products not intended for children under fourteen years of age
22. Model kits, hobby and craft items in which the finished item is not primarily of play value
After reading part of the articles, there is a very high possibbility for certain toys that are for kids below 14 years old to go dissapear in market. Besides, that I also heard rumors that price of the SIRIM approved toy might increase in future. ~ Q Racer Volkswagon
Bought these 2 little Volkswagon (Samba and Beetle) from TRU Empire Gallery last Sunday. I like their new arrangement for toys on the shelf. Very neat. Good job TRU. The quality for these little cars are quite good which were made by Welly. TRU repack the cars under the brand Fast lane. The cars do look alike Choro Q with "pull-back" action but the body is made from die-cast price at RM12.95 each. Other models that I can remember are Pajero, Nissan Fairlady 350z, Peugeot 206 and Toyota ~
