~ Welly Alfa GT

Welly!!! Heres come another 1/64 brand car added into my collection. Welly also produced other scale of die-cast such as 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18. I notice their car detailing is quite good. Toys "R" Us also selling Welly brand cars but under the brand Dickies. However, if you look under the car still stated "Welly". Welly has produced many wonderful cars that other die-cast manufactures have not produced. Those cars are from Audi, Mercedez, Honda, Mini, Alfa Romeo, Mitsubishi, Land Rover, Volkswagon, Subaru, Citroen, Nissan and many more!!!



The first impression that this car gave me is the details are awesome!!! The price is resonable and cheaper than Hot wheels. It has door mirrors and all the front details are painted including the headlamps. The most amazing part is the small "Alfa Romeo" logo which is so detail.

Took a closer shot. Look at the dashboard details!!! It looks real!!!

I have not added any detailing or coloring on this car; all original!!! Side hazard lamps are painted in gloss white. The door looks like can be opened but not!!! =P

The rear lamps and other tiny details are painted.

The only dissapointment for Welly is the quality of the rims. The rims are rough especially chrome wheels on other cars. I wonder why the quality has so much difference compare to the chassis of the car. The car has good paint job and detailing but bad wheels. However, the rims still looks good enough for a 1/64 car. I do hope Welly can improve the quality of the rims.

The plastic base has some details as well as the tires. The tire is made in such a way that it looks like rubber but is plastic. Welly is made in China.
