"Here comes the Hero of Light!!! "



Ultraman Tiga is one of my favourite new generation Ultraman besides Gaia. I got this Ultraman figure from a Japanese through ebay, Japan last month. It was his vintage collection as it is made in 1998 . I am really happy that this figure is still in mint condition!! It stands at 5" tall and has transparent eyes. Besides that, it has superb detailed details!! In these few years, Bandai also has released this type of Ultraman figures under the series of Ultimate solid (UTS) . Anyway, I missed out the earlier UTS released as up to date Bandai has released UTS till series 4.

~ Hotwheels 2008 Poster

Suprise, suprise, suprise!! Today, when i went back home after getting some Hot wheels (HW) and matchbox cars, I saw a comic posters in the plastic begs!! lol!! I immediately unfolded the "comic sheet". Then, I saw "2008" HW posters. Cool !! I have been waiting for this poster for so long. This year 2008 has dozens of nice cars such as Ferrari, volkswagon, Mitsubishi Lancer and lots more!! Almost 85% of cars from the list are very cool and hot!! I wish i could collect all the car that i wanted!!

~ Hotwheels 69' Dodge Daytona

WOW!! I just realised that i didnt post/ review about Hot wheels(HW) for quite some time as i was focused on TOMICA due to lack of HW restock (new wave) around my place. Anyway, I grabbed a new car 2 days ago i.e. 69' Dodge Daytona. This car is really cool with huge chromed engine and spoiler. It was released in 2007. I wish i could grab the 2007 blue edition one too.



This sporty car has nice green shiny paint job and a great detailed engine!! It looks cooler with the additional detail on the bonnet.




It has nice "Dodge" tempo on both sides of its doors. Check out the huge chrome "exhaust pipe" at both side of its body and the big rear wheels!! However, this sporty car looks more like a "Tonned" Dodge Daytona" to me rather then a realistic series?! Anyway, I like tooned car and hope HW can produce more tooned series!!


The rear part looks too "plain". I hope that HW could add some paintjob on the rear lamps. :)



It was made in Malaysia and has black mix with 2 small chrome part(exhaust).

~ Tomica 2007 Nissan Skyline

Another new release of Nissan Skyline in the year 2007!! This is onr of the brand new model from TAKARA TOMY. Its in 1/62 scale. This car looks cool, sexy and luxury!! Its a must have for skyline fans!!




It has chrome painted headlamps and silver grill. The logo is perfectly "printed" on the grill.


The windows panel are painted in silver!! It looks very outstanding among my die-cast collections.


It looks very cool and sexy in gloss black colour. You can click the photo below to see the reflection from the it. However, there is QC problem for this car as the paintjob has a few tiny sand/dust stick under the paint.


The rear lamps are painted in metallic red instead of normal chili red colour. I like this type of metallic colour as they look more realistic. The spoiler is painted in silver colour. Besides that, there are a few tempos i.e. logos. These additional tempos make it looks more "perfect". Nice!!!


The 2 front doors can be opened. The mold/ design of the doors has improved as the door is less "square-ish". This is one of the cool feature in this sexy black car.


Its made in China and has a black base.

~ TRU Q new london bus

This is the newer version of london bus. I bought it together with the old type london bus at Toys "R" Us (TRU) during special promotion. The main attraction point of this Q bus to me is the big round headlamp. This bus is also specially made by Jotus.com for Toys "R" Us. This mean that you can't find it in other places except TRU.



Details:

• Production Year: 2005
• Material: Plastic + rubber tires!
• Size: 5.5cm (Lenght) & 4.5 cm (Height)
• Has pull-back action!
• Very detail!

It has painted headlamp, rear lamp, black tiny signboard and a white plastic body. Besides that, it also has TRU logo on both sides of its body. No additional paintjob and detailing is required for it. However, the black windows are not transparent but painted in glossy black. This Q bus has less tiny details compare to old london bus. Anyway, I still loves it. =)



The top of the bus is painted in silver.



Nowadays, most of the new generation bus's engine is located at the back . This Q bus's back engine cover be opened to reveal its powerful engine. Cool!!


It has grey base and its made in China.

~ TRU Q old london bus

Hehe, finally i found something that i like a lot!!!!! Its the mini cute(Q) version of old london/ double decker bus. I grabbeb it without further thought as Toys "R" Us(TRU) was having promotion.
Actually, I saw this bus last year but didn't really go and check it out. This bus is specially made by Jotus.com for Toys "R" Us. This mean that u can't find it in other places except TRU.



Details:

• Material: Plastic + rubber tires!
• Size: 5.5cm (Lenght) & 5 cm (Height)
• Has pull-back action!
• Very detail!

As you can see, almost every part of the bus is painted to produce ample of tiny details! I don't have to add additional painjob and detailing on it. It has painted headlamp, rear lamp, tiny spotlight, TRU logo and black tiny signboards. Cool!! The red body is made from plastic.


The bonnet of the bus can be opened and reveal the engine ! I got a shock for a such detail feature in this Q bus. Great design!!


The TRU logo in English and Chinese characters are painted on both sides. I like the detail on the rims the most as its superbly detail!! However the black windows is not transparent but painted in glossy black. You may click to enlarge the photo to see more details especially the tiny blackboard!




It has black base and was made in China. Some black rubber tires has changed to pale grey colour after some time. I like this cute bus a lot!!

~ Tomica Dahaitsu Move custom

This Daihatsu Move custom version looks cool! Oh well, it is known as Perodua Kenari in Malaysia. Its in 1/57 scale and has purple metallic body. Besides that, it also has "suspension".
You can hardly seen this kind of car produce in 1/57-64 scale size. Thanks to TOMY!



The headlamp is in chrome colour, while the front spotlight and rearlamp is painted. There are tiny logo and" MOVE" wording at the back of the car. Unfortunately, the the rear windscreen is painted in grey colour.





As you can see, this car feature openable rear boot. It doesn't have any openable doors.


It has black base and made in China. Its worth to be added in your collection!

~ HB Silver surfer wave 2

This Silver surfer(SS) figure is actually produced based on the 2007 Fantastic 4: Rise of Silver surfer movie. He is one of my favourite Marvel heroes besides Spiderman. He is cool in silver colour and has special galactic powers! Actually, his body is in chrome colour. He doesn't has any weapon but a surfing board. It is a must have figure in your Marvel heroes collections!



The head sculpt is very detail and has real human face looks! This Wave 2 SS has white painted eyes compared to the Wave 1 SS.

Wave 2 silver surfer(SS) has new body sculpt especially abdomen muscle. The previous Wave 1 SS has vertical abdomen muscle's design.



Now, this surfing board is the main selling point for this wave 2 SS as it has different base(Flame emit type). It is quite long as you can see it is longer than a 15cm ruler.


This surfing board actually has pull-back actions! i.e. it will move forward if u pull it backwards and release it. Great! The design of this board is quite detail as you can there is "flame emitted" design below the board. The front wheels is made of plastic while the 2 back wheels tire are made from rubbers.

~ Tomica Pikachu car

I found something special today while having windows shopping i.e. Pikachu from Poketmon series has transformed into car!!! Tomy has produced one of the most popular cartoon character in the form of die-cast car. This car doesn't have actual scale but i expected its scale is around 1/59-1/62 as the car is quite big compared to 1/64 car.


Its very cute and I bet most of us like this car. The car's face looks almost identical to Pikachu. The eyes has replaced the head lamps. It has a pair of ears on the car roof while a lightning shaped tail at back. The tail and ears are made from plastic. Besides that, it also has fully function "suspension" wheels.


The painted Poketmon tempo on both sides make the car looks more attractive.


The bad point for this car is that it doesn't feature any opening doors features. Anyway, I would say that its a must have item in your die-cast collection! I don't think Tomy is going to reissue this cute car in the future unless Pikachu is too hot!


It was made in China in year 2005 and has a black base. Nintendo has approved this car as one of the Poketmon official products.

~ HB Human Torch

I bought this figure from the exclusive 3 pack DVD Commemorative series. The main difference of this series compared to single carded figure is the metallic dark blue suit! This metallic suit is darker and more accurate compared to previous release. This figure is made by Hasbro in conjuction with the release of the Fantastic 4 the movie: The rise of Silver Surfer in 2007.

This figure has a real human looks sculpt. However, i am suprised that the figure doesn't look like Chris Evans (actual actor of Human Torch) but Lee Ryan! xD Note: the small right photo is Lee Ryan while the left one is Chris Evans.


The features:

• 1 fire blast weapon + 2 bullets (single card has 2 fire blast)
• 1 Body and 2 leg orange fire decals
• Weapon can shoot!

Comments: The articulation can be improved like adding additional joints on the wrist and thigh with ball joints. Overall paint job is fine but there are quite a number of tiny dried gum marks on the figure. I like that blue metallic colour!

The body and legs fire decals actually just clip on the figure. The decals are semi transparent orange soft pvc rubber.

You can add the weapon by simply just clip it on the figure. I think Hasbro should design the fire blast that is able to let the figure hand put in it instead of clip on. In this way, the figure hand can glow the "fire". Cool!

We have to press the blue button to shoot the "fire" and should avoid pointing the weapon towards eyes as the shooting strength is quite strong. Its worth to be added into your marvel collection.
