~ Majorette Mini Cooper S 2015 Countryman

This is 2015 Mini Cooper S Countryman version. The second Kabaya edition Majorette that I own. Its quite heavy for a 1/64 scale car. I love the logo in front and back of the car. The logos are a bit too big but I am still OK with them as the printing are clear , not blurry like those in Hot wheels. The headlamps are made from black plastic while the back lamps are painted. Beside that, there is also tiny "Cooper S" wording printed at the back of the car.  The white stripes fit really well for the Mini !!! The only complain is the white stripe paint on the side is not thick enough. We can see some wave like watermark on the white paint. It is made in Thailand.

All right, it's has been a long long time that I never have a chance to grab nice cars especially Hot Wheels are "controlled" by the departmental store staff. Last month, I saw 12 cartons of Hotwheels cars laying in front of me but the staff told me that they have to check first before for sale.  All the boxes already have double tape isn't it already checked? I should have report to the store manager but I didn't. On the bright side, I can save the money. Then, I happened to walked into a brand new store which sell all sort of Japanese branded snacks and candy. Suddenly, I saw some diecast cars hanging on peg. It's Majorette !! But the packaging is different with Japanese wording. This is special collaboration between Majorette and KABAYA Japanese candy toy maker. It's actually a candy that comes with a toy car. It cost me RM15.30 each. I was looking for the new beetle but the staff told me it was sold in the morning. Oh my !! No luck to add  a new member for my beetle collection !! OK let's move on. I feel that the finishing is a lot better compare to those which selling in Malaysia market. The Japanese version cars are made in Thailand. The paint job is almost on par with Tomica. The metal is heavier too !!! I love the detail printings. I will keep the car in the solid card as it is 50th Anniversary edition.

~ Hot Wheels Dodge Charger SRT 2015 Spec Zehobby Custom

Hi everyone!!! Happy new year !!! This is my first 2016 post. A red sport car. It has been very long time I was inactive in collecting 1/64 die cast as in these 5 years because I could not locate any single nice car in my area especially JDM a.k.a Japanese car. Even-though there are new arrival carton, the store staff would keep and sell the cars to their agent. This is so unfair. So be first come first serve, not reserve !!! Anyway, luckily still have some muscle cars that interested me. In the past I collected Dodge Challenger while now it's Dodge Charger !!! The amount of details attracted me especially the decals and metal grill. Too bad the car lack of painting in front and back so I decided to add some detailing on it. The front and back were originally "blank red". Hope you like it. Hehe ....
